Immune regulation is the hottest issue in basic and clinical sciences. The aim of the World Immune Regulation Meeting (WIRM) is to bring junior researchers together with senior scientists to share their new findings in an inspiring environment. WIRM is big enough to learn from other disciplines and small enough to personally meet the experts. The congress is focused on Immune Activation, Effector Functions and Immune Tolerance with a special focus on Autoimmunity. The four days program mainly consists unopposed plenary symposia, which will be supported by several workshops, poster sessions, a meet the expert session, a special or relaxing lecture, different lunch symposiums and many more. Long lunch breaks will allow to digest attended symposia, talk with colleagues or enjoy sunny winter days in the Swiss alps. Delegates will come together for poster sessions in the evenings for scientific exchange in a stimulatory atmosphere with food and drinks. Since 2007, WIRM takes place every March in the congress centre of Davos, Switzerland.
